Richard Noel was born and grew up in the twin island of Trinidad and Tobago. He and his family relocated to the United States in the year 1998 to further his aeronautical engineering career. He later established a job at Evergreen Air Center as an aircraft structural manager, where he oversaw major, commercial, private and governmental projects including NASA.
In the year 2003 Richard and his wife assisted with children in crisis in the foster care system. During that time he started a non-profit organization called One Kingdom Image. The non-profit entails community enrichment projects with other organizations such as Up With People and Parks and Recreation. One Kingdom Image was built to reconcile and influence people of the community through the joy of music and art. The organization since then has changed the name to Arts For Life Community and Richard is the CEO and President.
Richard’s musical ability has given him the opportunity to be featured in events such as: “The Joy of Music 2004,” hosted by the Tucson Symphony Women’s Association. He was an exclusive performer of the opening act at the 2008 Rose Bowl parade along with the performing Arts group “Up With People.” Richard recently appeared performing in the movie Twin Bride that was filmed in Tucson and completed a ten track inspiring CD “Joy of the Caribbean” with his group Sticks & Fingers in early 2011. Richard is also involved in health and wellness education series called the UZO method as well as providing the live performance on the sound track to the KoSho Karate Fitness videos. In 2010 the CineCats Society screened a documentary “Uzo Method” at The Loft Cinema.
His active involvement within the local school districts such as Marana, T.U.S.D. and Amphitheater has helped him gain a platform in regards to his musical attributes to enrich the community. For his many positive contributions toward the community, he has gained esteemed regards and thanks for his active participation in community improvement through his gift of music. Richard believes that lives can be renewed through music education, while offering a safe, creative outlet for expression and healing.
