Banderolas or cut paper banners are used to decorate booths, halls in which parties are to be held, and lots of other sites, but their traditional use is to mark the path over which religious processions will pass. Although elaborate imported banderolas are available in Mexican folk arts stores, a few Tucson women specialize in making these very Mexicano decorations.
